Chris Johnson will be our speaker for the January 18th meeting. The topic will be “Fishing the Lower Mountain Fork River”.

The Lower Mountain River, in Southeastern Oklahoma, is only a six hour hour drive from the greater Austin area. From fast whitewater chutes to placid dry fly water, the Lower Mountain Fork River has it all! This beautiful river is one of the South’s premiere tail-waters and boasts a year round population of both brown and rainbow trout.

The Austin Fly Fishers meet the third Thursday of each month at the Northwest Rec Center (2913 Northland Dr).

Doors at 6pm meeting begins at 7pm.
